The Calgary and District Target Shooters Association currently operates two ranges in the Calgary area.
The Milo Range is South-West of the village of Milo and includes:
- 160 acres providing longer shooting distances and more room for competitions and individual shooters.
- Independent use of multiple rifle lanes at distances of 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 & 500 meters.
- 2 Archery bays.
- Shotgun area for informal trap practice.
- Normally available 7 days a week 9am to 9pm or Sunset, whichever comes first.
The Shepard Range is on the east side of Calgary and includes:
- A rifle range with 50m and 100m distances.
- A 25m pistol range.
- 1 Archery bay.
- Shotgun field for organized events.
- Normally available 7 days a week 9am to 9pm or Sunset, whichever comes first.
General Membership Information
| Guest PassesAll guests must have a visible pass, the other half of the pass must go into the box. A person at the range without a guest pass is NOT covered by insurance and is trespassing. ONE guest may shoot at a time under direct supervision of the member. We have a limit of 10 guest passes per full member per year. |
